August is a Contemporary Creole restaurant creating unique dishes with a focus on Louisiana ingredients and inspired by classical training. Located in a historic 19th century French-Creole building in New Orleans’ Central Business District, the main dining room caters to the most unique dining experience. The interior is rich with original architectural details, gleaming hardwood floors, soaring columns, mahogany paneling and antique mirrors.
Corkage policy
Please allow us the opportunity to share with you something from Restaurant August’s carefully selected list. Erin White has worked diligently to provide a selection of wines that pair wonderfully with Chef Ross Dover’s food. A $30 corkage fee will be applied to bottles of wine brought into the restaurant, however, if you have a special bottle from your personal collection, an anniversary bottle or another wine of personal significance to you, it would be our honor to pour it for you at no charge. We ask that you please call the restaurant in advance to arrange to bring this wine and share its story.
