Hot Johnnie’s pastrami is a two-week process. Brined and cured in small batches, then smoked in our kitchen for hours to create a finished product that will WOW you!
We bring a contemporary approach to pastrami while preserving an American classic that you would travel distances to experience. We are in the heart of the Castro, a neighborhood in San Fransisco that is rich in history, diversity and culture.

Attending the Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in San Francisco seemed like such an easy decision to make. I was classically trained in French cuisine, then traveled abroad to Hong Kong for an internship, and worked in different kitchens across the JW Marriott Hotel.

I realized that pastrami was on every corner in New York, and yet, what we have here on the West Coast is predominately pre-packaged deli meat.
