Frena Bakery and Café is now Pizza Pagaia
When we opened our bakery, originally Taboon SF, we knew it was the perfect opportunity to share our great grandfather’s recipes with San Francisco. Now, when you walk into Frena, you’ll experience the rich baking traditions of Iraq, Israel, and the Mediterranean region. Your nose will be flooded with the smells of freshly baked bread and your mouth will delight in the warming flavors of our flatbreads and burekas — made fresh, with no preservatives. Savor a cup of flavorful Israeli coffee in our bright and modern atmosphere, or grab some goodness to-go. For four generations our family has been perfecting these recipes, and we’re excited to share them with your family too.
