Step into the Vegas offshoot of a legendary institution when you visit Rao’s Las Vegas. The original Rao’s, opened in 1896, is one of the oldest family owned restaurants in New York City. With a sparse 12 tables, it is also one of the hardest places to get into. The Las Vegas version not only features a replica of the 12-table landmark, but also an open air patio, center bar, private dining and event space.
During each visit, it is the goal of Rao’s to make you feels as if yours is the only table in the room. The impeccable Southern Italian fare stems from high-quality ingredients such as house-roasted red peppers, freshly grated Pecorino-Romano and Parmigiano-Reggiano cheeses, Felipo Berio olive oil and certified San Marzano plum tomatoes imported from Italy. For more than 120 years, the Pellegrino family who owns Rao’s has cooked traditional family dishes in their iconic New York kitchen. This tradition is alive and well at their Las Vegas restaurant.
The time-honored staples include perfectly cooked Uncle Vincent’s Lemon Chicken, mouthwatering Rao’s Meatballs and pastas cooked perfectly and dished tableside. The classic veal chop is pan-seared and topped with a medley of hot and sweet cherry peppers.
