In the 1970’s, Big Dean’s took over the popular cafe, known to attract colorful characters like local lifeguards, body builders, bicyclists, and jugglers. In fact, we have even served celebrities, such as Cary Grant, Robert Wagner, Natalie Wood, George C. Scott, Wilt Chamberlain, Evel Knievel, and former California governors Jerry Brown and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
