O'Neill's Irish Pub - San Mateo

By any measure, O’Neill is a grand old Irish name. Since it first appeared in 360 AD, a host of veritable saints and scurrilous scoundrels have worn the O’Neill name with pride: politicians like Tip, playwrights like Eugene and sportsmen by the barrow load. At the other extreme, a fair… and, some might say, above average… number of the O’Neill clan have, over the years, ended their days dancing at the end of the hangman’s rope. It is thus a name that means a lot of different things to a lot of different people. So too does O’Neill’s Irish Pub evoke a wide variety of memories and feelings among the many, many people, committed regulars and casual visitors alike, who have passed through its portals and spent a pleasurable hour or more bellying up to the bar since it first opened its doors in 1998. Whether it be the perfect pint of Guinness, the ever present craic or the delightful charms of the bar staff, you can rest assured you will be welcomed with a friendly smile and will leave with wonderful memories.

O’Neill’s Irish Pub does not serve food. However there are several restaurants nearby that offer take out. Grab your food and come in for a drink.
