Since graduating from the San Francisco Culinary Academy over 18 years ago, Hilmar Juan Carlos Morales, JC Bruno Restaurant’s owner and Executive Chef, has been operating some of the most successful restaurants and businesses in the Bay Area. As a family and team, we are committed to creativity and innovation, delivering exceptional food, impeccable service, and a fine eye for detail. The restaurant industry and the catering business has allowed Chef JC to experiment and perfect his craft while patiently planning his dream of opening his own restaurant. JC and his wife Marcela put down roots in San Bruno where they are raising their son, Diego. When a location became available on San Mateo Ave, JC jumped on it and JC Bruno was born. The perfect combination of JC’s classic French training, California cuisine experience, and Peruvian heritage make for a dining experience that San Bruno has never had to offer.

Hilmar Juan Carlos (JC) Morales was classically trained at the Culinary Academy of San Francisco. Following his education JC found mentoring and job training at the world renown Aqua - Michael Mina restaurant. With entrepreneurship in his blood, Juan Carlos left the restaurant environment to start his own catering company JClub Catering, which has been successfully feeding businesses and private parties up and down the peninsula for the last several years.
