La Note is an authentic Provençal restaurant in the heart of downtown Berkeley. Traditional breakfast and lunch bistro fare are combined with rustic Provençal dinners in a warm and charming atmosphere. The restaurant’s owner Dorothée Mitrani, a graduate from UC Berkeley’s Environment design program (1994), won an award in excellence in 1998 for “outstanding storefront improvements” and rehabilitation of its beautiful 1875 building. Her daily goal is to raise her children all the while exposing them and the community to the convivial experience of sharing a wholesome fun and colorful meal reminiscent of her childhood.
We accept reservations for all parties for breakfast and lunch on Monday through Friday and for dinner on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
We only accept parties of 8 for weekend brunch reservations (seasonal restriction apply, please submit a request for more info)
