Located under the I-110 bridge overpass on Howard Avenue, the Charles R. Hegwood Community Market is open to the public Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The market is named after longtime Biloxi resident, Charles R. Hegwood Sr. Hegwood was a football coach for Notre Dame High School in Biloxi for more than 28 years. He also managed the market when it was located at the Point Cadet Plaza.
