The market met with instant success and now hosts over 85 farmers weekly and is widely recognized as one of the largest and most diverse grower-only Certified Farmers Markets in the state. Saturday

Established in 1991, the Saturday Downtown Market opened ten years after the Wednesday Market in the same location, as customers were eager for another market for weekend shopping. While the Wednesday market centers on the hustle and bustle of chefs and restaurants doing their shopping (with some regular customers sprinkled in of course!), the Saturday Downtown market offers a more intimate experience for the casual market-goer.
