Established in 2004, we are very proud to provide this wonderful certified farmers’ market in the City of Goleta at the Camino Real Marketplace. Surrounded by a thriving agricultural sector, this market hosts approximately 45 certified agricultural producers, with over a dozen traveling less than 10 miles to get to market. Referred to as the “Good Land” by locals, Goleta is historically recognized for its prolific lemon production, hosting an annual lemon festival at the adjacent Girsh Park, but is also well suited for satsuma mandarins, oranges and avocados. There are several high quality certified organic farmers in the immediate area, harvesting everything from strawberries, lettuce and tomatoes, to kale, corn, and sweet peas. The Camino Real Marketplace Farmers’ Market in Goleta provides a very family friendly atmosphere. Live music can be heard in the attached food court on most weeks, with a safe space for the kids to move around and have some fun. There are several excellent eateries to enjoy for those arriving during the brunch and lunch hours.
