Singer-songwriter, Shannon Bryant, grew up listening to pop music, however, she later found herself exploring Brazilian music and fell in love with the beautiful melodies and rhythms. Shannon has merged her influences, the likes of Antonio Carlos Jobim, Bebel Gilberto, Marisa Monte, into her own compelling style over contemporary melodies and rhythms. Her warm, flowing vocals have created her own flair on the classic bossa and samba standards.
Shannon has performed on stage with Carlos Santana at the Recording Academy Governor’s awards, and has also performed at SunFest World Music Festival, London Ontario Symphony Orchestra, Yerba Buena Gardens, SF State University, Union Square Park, San Francisco, and Wolf Performance Hall in London, Ontario.
