Dalton Yoder is a Bay Area native, guitar player. Throughout his childhood and young adult life, he performed and studied with the top youth groups in San Francisco including the SFJazz High School All-Stars, and Ensembles at the California Jazz Conservatory in Berkeley. Yoder furthered his studies of improvised music at the University of Miami’s Frost School where he studied for four years with former Blue Note recording artist, John Hart. This event will feature Jayla Chee on the upright bass, and Beau Cadigan on the drums, both of whom went to school in New York City to study their respective instruments; Jayla at Juilliard, and Beau at NYU. This particular combination of musicians met while working at the Stanford Jazz Summer Workshop where jazz musicians from all over the world gather for performance, study, and collaboration. Be ready for classic sounds, as well as creative modern material.

Both grew up in the greater Bay Area. Jed who’s on upright bass grew up in Berkeley and studied jazz at cal state northridge. Beau on drums lived in Daly City until moving to New York City to study jazz drums at NYU. Both play in San Francisco and beyond.
