Founded in the 1940s by Anita and Vicente Padilla who migrated from Jalisco, Mexico, to the Mission District. Their daughter, Dolores, took over ownership in the 1970s. SanJalisco’s legacy of authentic Mexican cuisine has been cherished by generations. Now, Dolores “Josie” Padilla, alongside her sons Alfonso and Francisco Reyes, invite you to experience the same warmth and flavor in a new setting.
