Where Surf, Live Music, Food And Good Times Gather. A year-round venue for live music, Old Princeton Landing (OPL) is also known as the the Coastside’s Biggest Little Music House. We welcome a wide range of artists both local and touring on most weekends. Our live music ranges from jazz, funk, soul, reggae and rock to indie rock and alternative music. OPL can also get some occasional drop-ins to our stage. The roster includes: Neil Young & Crazy Horse, surf legend and singer songwriter Tom Curren, the Expendables, and The White Buffalo.
Re-opened in the fall of 2010 by brothers Brian and Peter Overfelt, Old Princeton Landing welcomes locals and visitors alike. With the recent merging of the adjoining restaurant to the bar, we’ve named the entire facility Old Princeton Landing Public House and Grill. Peter and Brian Overfelt were raised on the Coast and grew up surfing California before they ventured all over the world. The food they ate while on surf trips in places like Australia, Indonesia, Brazil, Central America, Morocco, and Mexico left a lasting impression and has inspired much of what’s served at OPL today

Whether you’re planning a partial rental in our spacious backyard or a complete buyout of the entire Old Princeton Landing property, our friendly staff and unique venue can turn your private party dreams into reality.The Old Princeton Landing comes equipped with a fully stocked bar featuring an extensive selection of premium liquors, beers, wines & cocktails in addition to delicious buffet options that will keep your guests coming back for more.
We also have a state-of-the-art sound system including a DJ booth, projector for media, microphones for presentations and two stages for those interested in booking live performances. OPL’s layout is fun and functional. Located in the center of Half Moon Bay’s Harbor on Capistrano Road we’re within walking distance of the infamous Mavericks surf spot.
